HIGH LEVEL MAP Videos – Common Ground- Do’s and Don’ts in moving to common ground.
The scene is a vaccine centre. Person 1 is dressed in a suit. Person 2 arrives to confront the activists after one of them told their daughter (who had been vaxxed) that the injections were not safe.
THE DON’T
JOE
You guys are spreading misinformation!
JANE
Oh really? I’m sure you watch the BBC and CNN, religiously, right?!
JOE
(eye roll, shakes her head)
Yes, thank God. At least I don’t get my information from right-wing video sharing platforms. Do you really think all the institutions in the world are corrupt and our governments “want to kill us”? You are putting people at risk with your dangerous misinformation.
JANE
We are not putting people at risk, those that take the jab are putting themselves at risk!
JOE
The data proves that they are safe and effective!
JANE
Which data are you looking at? Pfizer’s marketing leaflet?
Do you know Pfizer paid a $2.9 billion fine in 2009 for corruption?
JOE
Well, the Oxford one was done free of charge with the best scientists in the world.

The Do
JOE
You guys are spreading misinformation!
JANE
Hi, that’s possible. I would be happy to talk about it in a calm and respectful manner.
JOE
Okay!
JANE
Let me first say, though, that we are on the same side in this.
JOE
What do you mean? Clearly we are opposed. I’m PRO-vaccine and you are not!
JANE
You are here because you care deeply about your family and we’re here because we care deeply about our families. We both want the best possible outcome and to make sure nobody is harmed. But we have some concerns and would like to have them addressed.
JOE
Okay, sure, but I have done my homework and these jabs are safe – they are the only way out of this pandemic and everyone should take one for the team.
JANE
Okay, we can talk about all of this as we have done a lot of research too. Do we agree that before agreeing to any medical procedure one should do a risk vs benefit analysis?
JOE
Yes, we should…
JANE
Are there things we need to look at?
JOE
What does that mean?
